Hi everyone - I'm so sorry for the slight lack of posts this week, I'm finally heading off to Rome on Thursday for a week so I've been planning for that, as well as keeping a review hidden so I can post it for you all whilst I'm away!

I received one ARC for review this week and that is Rebel Heart! I haven't actually read Blood Red Road yet, but it's on my bookshelf and so I think I might have to read that one pretty soon - I've only read great reviews for it.

I was super lucky to win two publisher competitions this week! I won last week's Mira Ink competition and received copies of Alice in Zombieland (which I am so exited for!) and The Lost Prince - even though I'm still yet to read the Iron Fey series! I also received a copy of Pushing the Limits, which I've since swapped as I already own a copy. I also won a fantastic Atom competition in which I won copies of Prophecy of the Sisters, Guardian of the Gate and Circle of Fire, which all look amazing!

When looking through my usual book swapping site, I noticed that someone was willing to swap these books just for the postage costs, so I quickly snapped them up! I received Getting It, Bait and The God Box, all by Alex Sanchez. Despite the not-so-great covers, the Rainbow trilogy has been on my wish list for some time, so I was so pleased to finally get copies of Rainbow High, Rainbow Road and Rainbow Boys!

Okay, okay, I know! I shouldn't have needed to buy and books after all of those others, but you know me - I just can't resist! I received Dreams after getting it from TBD 24 hours of offers last week. I also ordered Academy 7 and Looks second hand, and got lucky in the charity book shop, finding copies of The Woman in Black, One Foot Wrong and Take Me There!

What did you get this week?

  3. The Lost Prince?! You're so lucky! Read the Iron Fey series so you can read that one. That sounded kind of demanding, but I definitely didn't mean it that way!

Hope you enjoy all your books this week, and your trip to Rome!
