In My Mailbox is a place to showcase your new books,
whether you obtained them through the post or otherwise.
This week I received Nobody's Child which I won a short while ago and as it's my birthday on wednesday, I also received an early birthday present - Girl, Stolen!
I received three quite different but very awesome sounding ARC/Review copies this week which I'm very excited about! They were Partials, Bunheads and Escape. I have heard tremendous things about Partials and Bunheads so I'm looking forward to seeing what all of the fuss is about! I've also arranged for a giveaway of Escape soon, so keep an eye out for that.
I only made two swaps this week, but I think they look fantastic - especially Eve, which I can't wait to pick up. I also received Prisoner of the Inquisition which has total cover appeal!
I'm sure that, by now, you all know that I just can't help myself when there's a book sale on! This week was no exception - I picked up another well discounted haul of books! They were Pieces of Georgia, Fury, The Haunted, Big Mouth & Ugly Girl, Lust, Freshman, Come Closer, Skin, Goddess Games, Child X, Taken by Storm, The Dating Game, Don't Look Behind You, The Last Days, The Keep and M or F?

ReplyDeleteAlso, I really enjoyed FURY. A lot of people found it a little too risky for YA but I think that's what I loved most about it. It was dark and deceptive -- the perfect thing to read late at night to give you the eerie read!

Great books!! Prisoner of the Inquisition got me into historical fiction it was so good and I cant wait to read a few of the others in your mailbox this week! I love the sound of M or F? and I'd never heard of it until now!

ReplyDeleteSecond of all I am very pleased to see that I'm not the only one with an affinity for "overbuying" (which btw there is NO SUCH THING!) books. This week's IMM is absolutely insane. And when I post my birthday haul, even though it was last month. I think people are going to call me crazy!
