 I received some great ARC/Review books this week. I am so excited to read Black Heart Blue and Geekhood - they sound really interesting and I've heard really good things about them! I'd like to thank the author for providing a copy of Someone Else's Fairytale. Whilst I'm yet to read the first books in the two series, I also received Until I Die and We'll Always Have Summer - I really need to get around to starting those! 

 I picked up brand new copies of Secret Hour, Blue Noon and Touching Darkness - the three books in the Midnighters trilogy for just £5 and the three books in the Uglies series that I didn't have, Pretties, Specials and Extras for another £5, so needless to say that I wasn't at all disappointed with my book purchases this week!

 I received some amazing ARCs this week! I love the cover of Bringing the Summer. I've been desperate for Picoult's Between the Lines ever since I heard about it and an ARC of it is finally in my hands, I can't wait to read this one! I also got a copy of Graffiti Moon which will be published here later in the year - I've only heard good things about it from International reviewers, so I'm hoping that I'll love it!

 I made three swaps this week and I received Hunting Lila, Identical and Catching Jordan in exchange for 3 of my books. I'm really happy that I got the opportunity to swap for these 3 books as I've been wanting to get my hands on them for a while.

 I bought 3 books that were on sale this week. Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend is compared to Room and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, so I just had to pick it up. I've read some rave reviews for Genesis and I just loved the idea of Love Virtually.

Last but certainly not least, I received a pre-ordered copy of Please Ignore Vera Dietz which I won!

I'm very pleased with the books that I was given this week, and can't wait to get stuck into them.

Firstly, a big HAPPY EASTER to all of my followers!

I am SO happy with all of the ARC/Review books that I received this week! The Thorn and The Blossom is one of the most gorgeously presented books I've ever seen! I also received Bitterblue (though I'm yet to read the first two in the series!). I have heard only good things about The Gathering Dark (AKA Shadow and Bone) from US reviewers, so I'm looking forward to reading that. The most exciting arrival had to be receiving a finished copy of Insurgent! As a faction leader, I was one of the first in the UK to get it. I've started it and it's amazing! The review will be up on 1st May!

I made one swap this week and got Smoke and Mirrors in return. I was also lucky to win Pretty in Fiction's giveaway earlier this year and I chose a few pre-order books as my prize - one of those was Zombies vs. Unicorns which arrived yesterday!

I am SO excited about these books, particularly the ARCs!

Charity Hopping Around The World

 

 I received two ARCs that I'm SO excited about this week! These were The Peculiars and The Pledge - both of which I've heard great things about! I also received Ghost Flower which sounds like it will appeal to a lot of you and a copy of A Face Like Glass (by Frances Hardinge) which I can't find a cover picture of quite yet!

  I bought Burger Wuss, The Eyes of Van Gogh and Enthralled all half price from my local Indie bookstore which is unfortunately closing. :( I was so happy to find a brand new copy of Eyes Like Stars in Barter Books (which I featured here), along with a hardback of Trash which I've heard great things about. I also managed to pick up a hardback of Lost for 99p in Waterstones!

I had a relatively slow week for books this week - which is probably a good thing as I have a whole load to catch up on! I received an ARC of Burn Mark this week which looks really interesting - I'm sure most of you will love the sound of it! I was confused when a copy of Fake Mustache came through the mail to me (complete with an actual fake mustache!) - it looks very peculiar but that makes me want to read it more! I was also kindly given a copy of FireSeed One from the author, Catherine Stine. The premise sounds amazing!   

I had yet another visit to Barter Books this week and traded in a few of my old books - meaning that I didn't have to pay a penny for any of these (and I still have about £40 to spend!). I picked up Bud, Not Buddy, Festival, Seeing Redd, Apples, The Lottery, The Mysterious Edge of the Heroic World, Pictures of Lily, If You Come Softly, Disconnected and Crossing The Line. I also bought a copy of a book on my wish list this week and that was The Opposite of Amber.
