Jubilee Giveaway Blog Hop (INT)

Hurrah!
It is the long Jubilee weekend and as I'm very patriotic, I just had to do something on my blog to celebrate. I noticed this fantastic blog-hop and what would be better than to celebrate with a UK YA themed giveaway? 

This book is set in the UK but this is an INTERNATIONAL giveaway, so anyone can join in!

I'm going to giveaway a PAPERBACK copy of one of the best UK YA books that I've read this year as well as some swag! The book that you can win is:

Bringing the Summer by Julia Green

It's the lazy end of summer and Freya is about to start her A levels. Her brother Joe died a year ago, but she is slowly coming to terms with his death. She is beginning to feel ready for something new - a change. And then a railway accident brings her by chance into contact with the gorgeous Gabes. Freya is drawn not just to Gabes himself and his blond good looks, but everything about him, including his large, shambolic, warm and loving family, which seems to Freya so different to her own family of three... and then Gabes' clearly troubled older brother makes it clear he is interested in Freya - and Freya has some decisions to make about what she really wants.

    I love the monarchy - it means not having to deal with President Blair or Cameron (that would be awful) and they really are a great marketing asset for GB! I don't really know why, but just seeing them out and about always fills me with pride :) in a way it's what it means to be British! For me, at least. We're celebrating in a way - watching all the coverage on tv and eating a fancy meal! ;)

    Happy Jubilee weekend :) Yes we are celebrating, events at family fun day today but got rained off a bit but family part on tues!! woop woop

    The jubilee is a wonderful way to celebrate the Queen and her acheivement of 60 years as our monarch! Long life the Queen!

    It doesn't mean very much to me. I'm an Australian, and although I realise we have some contact with the queen, it doesn't make any difference to my life.

    I love the Monarchy - it's very British, and I think we should be proud! We're actually on holiday, but off out to a fireworks celebration/bbq tonight, which is apparently happening even if it rains!

    I am not entering because I have read and loved this book already :) I hope you have a great Jubilee weekend, Stephanie, I am enjoying it so far. I am loving seeing the queen on T.V. and the insight we are getting into her younger self. :)

    Yay for England. I live in Canada, which is more or less a colony of the UK. We've been hearing a lot here about the Jubilee. I won't be celebrating it but I followed it all weekend on TV!

    I'm not celebrating, because I'm not from England :) But I really like the Queen and Royal Family. She looks so nice to me and so strong :)

    To me the English monarchy is just good fun, love the hats and corgis!
