Waiting On Wednesday (2)

that we're anticipating.


Okay, I've made a decision. I have waited more than long enough for Black Dawn and I need it now! I would probably say that I usually prefer standalone books rather than series, but that really isn't the case with the Morganville Vampires series - I really can't get enough! I've read the first eleven books that have been released, but there is something that makes me want to keep coming back to Morganville and its characters. The books are easy to read, I've connected well to the characters and the plots are always exciting - thankfully, the quality has been consistent throughout. I absolutely loved the last instalment, Last Breath, and I'm hoping that Black Dawn will be just as good, if not better!

    I love the Morganville series too. Every time I finish a new book I just want to keep reading. Seriously, they're like crack. :)

    I haven't read this series, but I've heard its pretty good. Vampires aren't really my thing these days, though, so I'm not sure about it.

    I've actually never heard of the Morganville Vampires series, but I'm always looking for new series to read. While I love my stand-alones just as much as the next person, it's nice to really explore a variety of characters within a series. I will definitely check this series out!

    This is EXACTLY how I feel about the Sookie Stackhouse series. Totally NOT an even YA appropriate book series but it is vampires, etc. AND I LOVE IT!! The show is terrible and not even close to what the actual books are like. There are tons of those too and I'm always dying for the next one! I'll have to try this series! Here's our Waiting on Weds

    I've heard nothing but good things about this series and I have the first book yet I haven't found the time to start it! Maybe I should just wait for the final book and then read it over a whole summer or winter vacation :D

    My friend Reeshe LOVES this series and she's read all of the books and is just as anxiously waiting for Black Dawn too. I've only read the first three books so far which is funny because I am the one that brought Morganville to my friend's attention. I love the cover for this book and need to hurry up and read the rest.
