I had a fantastic week for books this week, above is a photograph of all but one of the books that I received through the post.

I received a Waterstones gift card for Christmas and so I bought Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Steampunk! with some of the money - I'm really, really excited to read these, especially the former.

I received Dark Parties, Jane, Skippy Dies, Sweethearts (thanks Jo), Pooh & The Psychologists, The Windup Girl, Candy and Goodnight Mister Tom by swapping books that I've already read for ones that I haven't!

The Book People were having a sale and so I picked up brand new copies of the first 5 Lily Bard Mysteries, The Last Act, Tales from the Black Ship and the first 3 Kitty Norville books for really cheap! I also purchased a copy of Carlson's Dark Blue from eBay.

I received my first ever gift via the Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) project. I owe a massive thank you to Vickie for sending me a book that's been on my wish list for a while - The Lipstick Laws.

I received my first ever ARCs this week too, which gave me a huge smile on my face! I received Mockingbird (which I am currently reading) and The Other Life from Usborne and Amulet books sent me a copy of The Storyteller. I'll be posting reviews for these very soon, so watch out for them!
